Pros: For me, the 30 GB iPod holds more than enough music for me. It's not very heavy and easily fits into most purses for on the go. It's great to use in the car if you have the appropriate hook ups. Videos look decent for the screen size.

Cons: It's too bulky to use while working out. It's scratches easily so a case is reccomended from day one of use. The album artwork does not show up most of the time, but it's not something I care about. iTunes almost never works correctly for me, but that's an Mac vs. Windows problem, not a problem with iPod itself.
