Motorola KRZR K1m (in Fire)

Overal Rating:

Retail Price: ~$150
Purchase Price: $50 with a two year contract w/Verizon Wireless

Pros: It's downright beautiful. The main reason I got this phone was beacause it's red and so shiny and pretty. It's fun to play with, pretty compact, and sleek. It's fits perfectly in all my purse cell phone pockets. It has a completely "silent" or "alarms only" ringers feature which I find useful. It does bluetooth and plays music. It has speaker phone and a dedicated speaker phone button which I find useful. Call reception is usually pretty great for me. I can always hear clearly even when I have half a bar of service.

Cons: Because the front screen is shiny, it gets fingerprinted very easily. Before I got a case for it, I was constantly cleaning the front screen off. The first KRZR I got was defective. The second one I had had a crooked screen, and my third one is far from perfect either. (Yeah, I've had three... that should tell you something.) The buttons are hard to differentiate between since they are all rubbery. Also, the middle number 5 button is raised so you can differentiate between the other buttons, but on my first KRZR, the five button completely came off and was not longer raised because of my nails digging into it. It's somewhat hard to text on because the buttons are not exactly indivual. Even though it can store music, I can fit about 3 to 5 songs (at a decent bit rate) on the phone before you get a memory card. That didn't impress me at all since they basically want you to spend even more money so you can utilize the music feature. Overall, it's a very delicate phone so if you're harsh on your cell phones, this is absolutely not a phone for you.
